The best of the other fests! A selection of films that received much appreciation by winning prizes, getting selected by many festivals or claiming a spot in several programmers' year-end lists of 2024. The selection of a film is always based on the taste of programmers and selection committees, but for this program we looked for films with a certain prestige that makes them deserve the stamp of 'international highlight' of the last film festival season.
This program consists of the five films nominated for the European Film Awards, including the winner The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent.
