About Go Short

Short, but powerful

Go Short is the home of short film. A place where talent, innovation, and storytelling come together. Here, filmmakers and audiences meet to explore the world in all its colors and contrasts.

Short film is a medium where anything is possible and nothing is required. It’s a space for emerging creators and lovers of bold, distinctive stories. We believe these films can change the world. Through festivals, workshops, and events, we connect filmmakers, audiences, and the industry.

The importance of short film

Go Short sees it as its mission to be a guide in the world of short film. A platform for anyone eager to explore more, whether you're a filmmaker or a viewer.

Short film offers a rich palette of styles, stories, and perspectives. From experimental techniques to familiar voices. It’s a space where boundaries are explored, artistic diversity takes center stage, and different visions come together. Together, we strive for an inclusive film culture—one where everyone feels safe, seen, and free to lose themselves. A place where social issues are given space and diverse voices are heard.

A springboard for makers, a mirror for viewers

For professionals, short film is a springboard. It offers a space to grow, innovate, and tell stories that matter. For audiences, it’s a window to the world. It reflects the issues of today and deepens our understanding of the world around us.

Go Short bridges these two worlds, building a future where short film continues to challenge and inspire. Where filmmakers keep experimenting, and audiences keep learning. In doing so, we contribute to the growth and evolution of short film, making it an even more powerful and relevant medium for both viewers and the film industry as a whole.
