Sign up for the producer campus

Go Short's campus programme is coming back! For its 17th festival edition, Go Short is organising a jam-packed three-day programme for producers. Are you a short film producer and do you have at least three films or other audiovisual productions to your name? Do you enjoy making new connections and would you like to learn more about pitching and co-producing? Then sign up for the producer campus.

From Wednesday 2 April to Saturday 5 April, Go Short is organising a specially curated and in-depth programme for 12 producers, about half of whom are from the Netherlands and half from abroad. There is room for ten (short) film producers and two producers specialised in audiovisual productions that are screened outside the cinema. Think, for example, of film installations, VR or narrative games. Registration is open until Tuesday 18 February.

The program

On Wednesday, April 2, is all about getting to know each other in the city. In the evening, there will be a film screening followed by a Q&A, where participants will get a behind-the-scenes look and learn more about the development of the festival program.

On Thursday, April 3, starts with a pitch workshop. After that, participants will join the filmmakers' brunch, where they can meet other filmmakers attending the festival. The workshop then continues. The evening program includes industry drinks, a shared dinner, a film screening, and a Q&A.

On Friday, April 4, the participants will join the Dutch Short Film Pitch, where ten Dutch short film projects will be presented. Later in the afternoon, one-on-one meetings will take place, with campus participants being matched with industry guests. In the evening, there will be a networking drink, after which the participants will head back into the screening room.

On Saturday, April 5, there is room for reflection. During the coaching session, participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges in the field and/or reflect on the past few days. Following this session, they will share one final lunch together, marking the conclusion of the campus program.
