Reflections: iPhone Fever Dreams 16+

Can film and video approach the wild experience of going down a rabbit hole, on a sleepless night of doomscrolling? What could remain of the torrents of memes and pixels poured directly into one’s brain and sockets by a backlit screen, held way too close to one’s eyes and psyche? This program tries to recreate, in a collective cinema séance, the kind of fever dream one is bound to solitary (and a bit shamefully) experience in the secret of one’s teenage sheets, somewhere in the middle of the 2010s.
