Tatiana is a 9-year-old girl who translates everything from Dutch to Spanish for her Mami. Tatiana and her Mami live illegally in the Netherlands and are housekeepers for a fetish model in exchange for shelter and food. However, the joy of translating fades when Tatiana, out of fear of deportation, translates something different to her mother than she actually hears with significant consequences.
